What we are doing and TIPS to stay safe

Hey everyone, it’s the HerHealth team here! We hope that you all have been staying safe during this pandemic! Just because we’re in quarantine doesn’t mean that our team hasn’t been working super hard!

During quarantine, we have been planning a series of educational Zoom meetings and virtual seminars that you can choose to attend. These virtual meetings will be packed with tons of fun and cool info (plus games!). We will announce our first virtual seminar once we are closer to the date, so keep checking for the date and mark your calendars!

We are also working on future in person seminars for the Fall! If you have any suggestions or request on what we cover please email or DM us.

Besides all the fun things you can expect from us soon, we have compiled a few general tips on how you can stay safe during these tough times!

1. Social distancing means social distancing! ...even from friends and extended family. Stay inside and try to not invite people over, because you never know who could have the virus. This also means that if you can limit the amount of times you can go to the grocery store, please do so! (try ordering online and having them deliver to your home, places like Publix and Walmart offer this feature )

2. Please wear a mask when you do go out. "I wear a mask to protect you, and you wear one to protect me" is the idea behind it all. If we all do out part to stay clean and safe we will help lower the spread and indirectly help the work load on our healthcare workers!

2. Be sure to wash your hands before you eat, after you touch the mail, door knobs, and other surfaces. As encouraged by many leading officials, soap and water is the best way to ensure that your hands are safe and clean!

3. Last but most certainly not least, try to get some fresh air by going to your backyard or balcony. Remember, we’re kind of like house plants but with more complicated feelings at this point. So don't forget to give yourself enough sunlight, water and positivity.

Overall, we can’t wait to see you at our future events and hope that you all continue to stay safe! For more updates, continue to check out our website and instagram at www.instagram.com/herhealthucf
